The Colorado Select Board of Directors will be holding their Annual Board Meeting this coming Sunday and Monday. We will not be having a January Board meeting. We will resume in February.

If you were at The Edge Ice Arena between 3:00 and 4:00 on Saturday, Dec 20th, you witnessed a TREAT! The Colorado Select U19AAA team played host to our first ever Alumni game. Over 20 of our graduated alumni returned home for Christmas and participated in the event. The game was fantastic with a display of speed, dazzling puck handling skills and great goal tending! What a delight to see our former girls from the Select return to don navy Alumni jerseys and take on the U19AAA team! Seeing so many Div I and Div III helmets, from the Alum's current teams, made a quite a statement on the ice!
Thank you to our Director of Hockey, Marnie Hill, for her vision and guidance to make this event happen.
Thanks also to Emily West, former CSGHA player and current Minnesota Gopher, for organizing the Alumni.

Do you want to learn to play the COOLEST Game on Earth? Colorado Amateur Hockey Association, Colorado Girls Hockey Association and AQUAFINA invite YOU to participate in the first Colorado  Girls One Goal Event! All equipment provided, ages 4-10 who are new to ice hockey are welcome. Registration is limited to the first 40 applicants. Sessions will be held Jan 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st and February 7th. Best of all, these sessions are FREE!!

Former Colorado Select Player, Lindsey Minton, was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week. Minton recorded a shutout victory in her first career start for her University of New Hampshire hockey team against Northeastern University.

 Congratulations to the U14AA team for winning the
All-American Girls Tournament U14B Division in Blaine, MN. The U14AA team
outscored their opponents 17-1 with wins over Wisconsin’s Superior Spartans
7-1, North Dakota’s Fargo White 3-0, and Minnesota’s Washburn 7-0.

Elite Girls Hockey Camp
High Altitude Elite Girls Hockey Camp
2009 Elite Camp Registration now Available!
This camp is for elite level players with the skill and desire to play at the collegiate level. The staff will consist of Div I & Div III Head and Assistant coaches. Open to Tier I/AAA level players entering grades 10-12 in fall 2009 and 2009 graduating seniors.
